Cafe-lux have recently decided to sell the coffee by the cup locally. we have obtained a pitch in Ipswich Town centre outside Barclays Bank and are starting to see a trend in the customers returning again and again. We are selling our FAIRTRADE Organic coffee in the mobile trailer by the cup and it is receiving a great response. We have a pitch every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This evening Jon and Alex went to a food demonstration at the Suffolk Foodhall. Celebrity chef Galton Blackiston cooked some simple home-cooking recipes from his new book, and let me tell you, the pea and mint soup is spectacular! We noticed Galton had been drinking coffee and naturally had to get his opinion of the Signature blend Organic FAIRTRADE coffee he was drinking. Galton was very impressed with the standard and taste of the coffee and has invited Jon and Alex to Morston Hall (one of Norfolk’s top restaurants/hotels with a very impressive 1 michelin star award!) to discuss supply of Cafe-lux coffee and a new coffee machine! All in all a very worth while event. Not to mention the exceptional grounds of the Suffolk Foodhall in which the event was hosted and the fantastic 3 course meal followed by Cafe-lux Organic FAIRTRADE coffee that was served by the very dedicated, talented and hard-working staff. Thank you very much to Galton, Neil, Ollie and Rob, and in particular all the staff behind the scenes that made the evening run so smoothly and professionally!!
